Closer to home to Heritage`s Branston Hall resort is the City of Lincoln the centre of which is a 10 minute drive from the resort and this charming City has a marvellous atmosphere enhanced on one hand by its historic Cathedral and Castle and on the other hand by the abundance of great shops and restaurants.

The whole area has a wealth of other attractions and the countryside and villages around Branston provide many other pursuits and pastimes to give the visitor an insight into rural English life and history.

The English Lake District has often been referred to as the most concentrated area of natural beauty in England and it is difficult to disagree with this statement.

Heritage Resorts Lakeland Village location is quite simply excellent being directly on the River Leven to the south of Lake Windermere and is well situated to take full advantage of everything this wonderful area has to offer.

Apart from the breathtaking landscape, the area is a paradise for holidaymakers offering everything from golf to horse riding, hill walking to windsurfing, tennis to sailing, not to mention fishing, water skiing, cruising and clay pigeon shooting.

The Lake district is also a wonderful starting point for a tour of the delights of Scotland with the wonderful City of Edinburgh with its world famous Castle and Royal mile as well the shops of Princes Street being less than two hours drive from Heritage's Lakeland village.
