The Spanish Costa del Sol has long been acknowledged as the holiday destination of mainland Europe, with its 320 days a year of sunshine and one of the best year round climates anywhere in the world. With over forty 18 hole golf courses to choose from it is the golf capital of Europe and the coast also has an abundance of other sporting facilities and pastimes to offer as you would expect in such an outdoor environment.

Skiing is possible between November and April each year in the southern most ski resort in Europe just a leisurely two hour drive from any one of Heritage's resorts.

Close at hand to the resorts are the towns of Marbella and Fuengirola with their international shops and abundant and varied nightlife and restaurants.

A few kilometres beyond Marbella is the world famous millionaires playground of Puerto Banus home to some of the most exotic yachts in the world.

For culture lovers, the region of Andalucia has the delights of Granada, Cordoba, Ronda and Seville all with their individual charms but all endowed with an abundance of monuments and architecture to remind the visitor of the varied and interesting history of both Andalucia and of course Spain itself.

All these treasures are a day trip from any of Heritage's resorts as would be a visit to the British enclave of Gibraltar with its duty free shopping or even a visit to the Moroccan town of Tangier on the North African coast.

For access to Heritage resorts, Málaga International Airport is a short drive with direct flights from all major European centres as well as many incoming flights from non-European locations. Gibraltar Airport is also only one hour away and southern Spain is generally well served by motorway and rail connections with the rest of Europe.
